Arsenal has grabbed the transfer market with both hands and then some this summer under the guidance of both boss Mikel Arteta and club technical director Edu Gaspar, leaping to the top of the spending table as the Gunners look to jump back into the Champions League as soon as possible.
Deals for Manchester City pair Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus, Fábio Vieira, Marquinhos, and Matt Turner have many in the Arsenal fanbase expected of the club to crack back into the top four at the bare minimum in the 2022-23 season.
But former Arsenal defender Mikael Sylvestre has weighed in with his opinion regarding what the Gunners could still get done before the transfer window closes this summer.
“Both Tielemans and Paqueta are very good midfield players who have been performing well. They have the qualities to play for #afc.” 🌟https://t.co/RH9IT4fh4Z

In quotes provided by Football.London, Sylvestre made known his opinion that both Youri Tielemans and Lucas Paqueta would be excellent further additions to the fold at the Emirates Stadium.
“Both Tielemans and Paqueta are very good midfield players who have been performing well. They have the qualities to play for Arsenal. They could be good signings and they suit Arsenal’s style of play.”
Interest in both midfielders is hardly a secret this summer as Arteta’s first-team squad could still add another name into the center of the park, despite current central options under the Spaniard including Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka, Sambi Lokonga, Mohammed Elneny, and the fact that Oleksandr Zinchenko can reliably be deployed in midfield with the likes of Martin Ødegaard and Emile Smith Rowe capable of deputizing in a pinch.
A deal for either midfielder is sure to hinge on the club offloading a handful of assets in what is a bloated senior squad that now stands at thirty-three players, but should surplus options be shifted, Arsenal would still be capable of adding another potentially transformative player to an already much-improved team.
