Manchester United’s stance on a potential sale of Jadon Sancho to Paris Saint-Germain has emerged amidst suggestions that the player is close to striking an agreement over personal terms with the French club.
Sancho is now back at United after spending the second half of last season out on loan at Borussia Dortmund.
The Englishman joined the Bundesliga club after he and Erik ten Hag failed to amicably resolve their differences, which played out in public.
However, Sancho recently returned to training and it was stated that both he and the manager agreed to put a stop to their dispute and work together once again.
Indeed, Sancho was named in United’s starting XI for their pre-season match against Rangers on Saturday.
The 24-year-old was on the pitch for 45 minutes as the Red Devils beat Rangers at Murrayfield.
Earlier today, a bombshell report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that PSG were “close to agreeing personal terms” with Sancho over a move to the French capital.
The United winger has been mooted as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who parted ways with Luis Enrique’s side in favour of sealing a transfer to La Liga giants Real Madrid.
However, according to TBR, United are currently not interested in selling Sancho to PSG and it looks increasingly likely that the player will be plying his trade at Old Trafford next term.
“TBR Football now understands that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to test United’s new position and have submitted an enquiry for Sancho.”
“Ten Hag has now patched up his differences with Sancho after the pair’s high-profile falling out. The situation has changed to the extent that United are not actively looking to sell Sancho, and definitely won’t loan him out.”
“PSG are now assessing the situation with Sancho but could still be tempted to make a move despite United’s stance, given their need to bolster their attacking options.”
Sancho is not the only United player thought to be on PSG’s radar.
It’s understood that the reigning Ligue 1 champions also want Red Devils captain Bruno Fernandes.
