Liverpool play their third Champions League group game of the season in an historic all-British clash against Rangers on Tuesday.
It’s the first of two games against the Scottish outfit in less than a week, with a Premier League trip to Arsenal sandwiched in between this weekend.
Having gone into the September international break in good spirits after a 2-1 victory against Ajax, the Reds were brought back down to earth with another disappointing performance in their 3-3 draw with Brighton on Saturday.
They do, at least, have the opportunity to put things right quickly, with their home meeting with Rangers coming just three days later, as Jurgen Klopp‘s side get stuck into their busy pre-World Cup schedule.
Victory here would put them in a strong position in Group A, with Rangers beaten by Ajax and Napoli in their first two Champions League meetings this season.

The match gets underway at 8pm (BST) – or 3pm in New York, 12pm in Los Angeles, 6am (Wednesday) in Sydney, 11pm in Dubai and 10pm in Nairobi.
