On June 1st, Real Madrid is set to open Santiago Bernabeu so that fans can watch the Champions League Final. It will be streamed live on the club’s own TV channel, Real Madrid TV, and shown on the big screen, as it has for the last 10 years. This move was necessary after fans raised a range of concerns after it was announced that Taylor Swift would be performing at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium on the 29th and 30th of May.

The match is against Borussia Dortmund and will take place at London’s Wembley Stadium. Kick off is at 21:00 CET and it will refereed by Slavko Vinčić.

The Taylor Swift concert on Monday 30th has been pushed forward an hour, setting to finish at 10 pm, which gives staff 48 hours to set up. In order to do this the stage will need to be dismantled, the screens will need to be set up and there will likely need to be a large cleaning crew.

Real Madrid are yet to announce how people can get tickets to this streaming event, however details are set to be confirmed in the coming days. In previous years tickets were free to all members, and €10 to the general public who will need to reserve seats. We are not sure if this will be the case this year, but it is the most likely.
