CARLISLE 7.45

BOWLAND PARK was only fifth of seven at Chelmsford last time, but the pace horses never came back and his patient style was at a huge disadvantage. That took his all-weather record to 8445 (0-4) and he’ll be far happier back on turf at Carlisle this evening. He goes well at this time of year, recording form figures in July/August on grass of 1711 (3-4), improving to 111 (3-3) below Listed level. He’s also a long traveller for the Kubler yard and had we backed all their runners who are shipped more than 250 miles to the races we’d have won 14 of our 65 bets and made a profit of £57.05 to a £1 level stake at SP.
