The winter transfer window is officially open and it is no surprise to see players of all positions being linked with a move to Manchester United.
The Red Devils are in need of reinforcements with manager Erik ten Hag publicly confirming his desire to add firepower up front in January.
One club whose players are constantly in demand is Benfica. Their highly-coveted midfielder Enzo Fernandez has been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
His humongous release clause of €120m is beyond the 20-time English league champions at the moment and Chelsea are said to be advanced in the race.
United want multiple Benfica stars
However, it remains to be seen if a deal can be agreed in the winter or whether the World Cup winner decides to move in the summer.
Portuguese newspaper O Jogo (via Sport Witness) has also revealed that multiple players belonging to the the Lisbon giants are being eyed by United.
One of the biggest names who has been mentioned as a possible replacement for last season’s top goalscorer Cristiano Ronaldo is Goncalo Ramos.

The Portuguese striker grabbed headlines worldwide after his World Cup hat-trick.
The Portuguese outlet wrote in their report that Ramos was “one of the first options” Ten Hag mentioned to “reinforce” his team’s attack following Ronaldo’s departure.
Another notable name mentioned in the report is centre-back Antonio Silva, whose performances this season has caught the eye of Europe’s elite sides.
O Jogo have mentioned United as one of the interested parties while also claiming that Liverpool, Juventus, Napoli and Paris Saint Germain are all eyeing a deal for the 19-year-old.
Trio will only leave for big money
However, Benfica are a well-oiled machine and are notorious for making the most of their outgoings and any deal for the aforementioned trio is likely to cost the buying team a whole lot of money.
Club president Rui Costa will only let the duo leave in January for the price of their release clauses.
For Ramos, the clause is currently €120million while Silva’s current valuation stands at a mammoth €100million.
It is safe to say that the duo will continue to ply their trade for Benfica till the end of the season. The summer might be a bit more interesting.
