Manchester United could make an offer for Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries in the next week, it has been reported.
Dumfries rose to the top of the European game after a successful Euro 2020 campaign.
Dumfries lined out for the Netherlands at the most recent European Championships and caught the eye with his marauding runs down the right from a wing-back role.
His displays at Euro 2020 would then earn him plenty of attention in the 2021 summer transfer window, in which he made the move from PSV to Inter Milan.
The 26-year-old has since continued to impress with Inter, notching five goals and five assists in 33 league ties last term.
Now, in the latest few weeks, Manchester United have been credited with an interest in the right-back.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester United will reportedly intensify their interest in Denzel Dumfries next week.
It is added that the Nerazzurri are open to selling their star full-back as they look to make one major sale this summer, with Erik Ten Hag’s side now in the running to make an offer for the Netherlands’ international as soon as next week.
But that will only happen if United can offload their own right-back, Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
In terms of a potential transfer fee for Dumfries, it is reported that Inter could part with the defender for around £34m.
However, United’s main issue in any potential move for Dumfries would likely be getting rid of Wan-Bissaka rather than paying Inter’s asking price.
Wan-Bissaka has proven he is not cut out to play for a top Premier League side on a regular basis, but his wages are now likely too high for teams lower down the division who may have some interest in him.
