It looks like Chelsea are closing in on signing Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly this summer in a deal reported to be around £34m.
Whilst reports are stating it is not a done deal yet, it does appear to be advancing quick now this one.
Sources have suggested an agreement over a £34m deal for Chelsea to sign Kalidou Koulibaly is not far away.

For me, I was absolutely buzzing to hear this news and he has always been my first-choice top pick for centre-back to replace the departed Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen. Except the world class player is not a replacement for either of them, he is in my opinion, an improvement on both of them.
I’ve been a real advocate of moving to try and sign Kalidou Koulibaly this summer, more than any other defender if I’m totally honest. I just think the Senegal international has it all, everything we need.
I just believe that what he brings tops anyone else, and the best thing he brings is pure experience and leadership. When I heard that Koulibaly might be available for less than £40m this summer, I knew that this was an automatic no brainer in my mind. Koulibaly for me, should have always been our priority option and never a backup.
I have no fears about his age by the way, Thiago Silva should shut down anyone’s fears about age in professional football, as should Cristiano Ronaldo. It’s all about looking after yourself and eating the right foods.
Koulibaly has only just turned 31-years-old, he’s young compared to many still playing at the top level. He brings international and European experience, he is a solid and physical defender who can defend to a world class level on the ground and in the air, and he is an excellent ball-player.
He literally ticks ALL the boxes for what Thomas Tuchel needs right now, and I’d be over in Italy right now taking De Laurentiis for cocktails on the beach if I was Boehly!
