Juventus could offer Italian international Federico Chiesa in a swap deal for Jadon Sancho.
In a huge turn of events yesterday, United officially released photos of Sancho with the rest of the first team during pre-season training at Carrington.

It was also reported that the winger had held successful “clear the air” talks with manager Erik ten Hag earlier in the week and both agreed to move on from their public spat last season which saw Sancho ostracised from the first team and eventually sent out on loan to Borussia Dortmund in January.
Nonetheless, reports later in the day claimed that this rapprochement may not in fact result in the 24 year old remaining at Old Trafford.
Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are still keen to bring in Sancho this summer but the price of the player on a permanent deal still remains a stumbling block for both sides.
Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport state that a transfer for the player “would cost between €35 and 40 million; an amount that Juve hopes to raise also through the sale of Federico Chiesa”, whose current deal runs out next year.
The paper confirms that “United could be interested in the Italian player and at that point there could even be talk of an exchange.”
It was relayed here yesterday that United alongside Bayern Munich remain in the hunt for the 26 year old winger.
It is also true that the Red Devils have scouted the Italian for a long time and he first popped up on the club’s radar when he was shining at Fiorentina back in 2020.
Corriere dello Sport also report that “there is an obstacle regarding Sancho relating to his salary: he earns around €9 million, well above the ceiling set by Juventus, and to embrace the Juventus cause he would have to” reduce his wages substantially.
It is also claimed that a “real negotiation” can only begin in August, “when the parties will have evaluated all solutions.”
It is unclear whether United would be interested in a potential swap with Chiesa. There is little doubt that the club would have jumped at the deal three or four years ago but the Italian has suffered numerous injury problems and has been in questionable form for a while now, making a move significantly less appealing.
