Juventus are actively working on a deal to bring Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho to Turin.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bianconeri are keen to bolster their offensive options, particularly to provide support for striker Dusan Vlahovic.
Sancho, who had a strong second half of the season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, is seen as a prime candidate to fill this role.
The Englishman is reportedly no longer in United’s plans, with the Red Devils looking to sell him for around €50 million.
Juventus, aiming to enhance their attacking lineup, view Sancho as a valuable addition.
His ability to create chances and score goals makes him an ideal replacement for Federico Chiesa, who is expected to leave the club this summer.
Chiesa’s departure is becoming increasingly likely, with Roma among the clubs interested in his signature.
His market value has dropped by €10 million since the Euros, making his transfer fee approximately €25-30 million.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus have decided to sell Chiesa as new manager Thiago Motta wants to take the team in a different direction. Chiesa’s contract, which expires in the summer of 2025, also contributes to his lower market price.
Romano stated, “The decision of Juventus has been made in the case of Federico Chiesa. The player will leave the club this summer, this is the plan.”
He added, “For sure, Federico Chiesa is a big opportunity on the market, and he will probably have several options to choose from.”
The funds from Chiesa’s sale could partially finance Sancho’s acquisition, making the deal more feasible for Juventus.
