Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho reportedly rejected a proposal from an unnamed suitor as he’s waiting for Juventus to make their move.
Sancho spent the second part of the 2023/24 season in Germany with Borussia Dortmund after he was banished from the Red Devils first team by Erik ten Hag.
The two publicly fell out and failed to resolve their differences. Sancho spent a number of weeks training alone before a decision was eventually made to let him re-join Dortmund.
He enjoyed a slight upturn in fortunes at Signal Iduna Park as he helped the club reach the Champions League final, where they ultimately fell short at the hands of La Liga giants Real Madrid.
Unsurprisingly, Dortmund are keen to have Sancho back but it’s been repeatedly mentioned that they cannot afford to meet United’s £40million asking fee. He has also been linked to Serie A club Juventus. A possible swap deal has been mooted, which could see Federico Chiesa join United.
A report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that Thiago Motta’s side want to acquire Sancho with an option to buy. On their part, United are open to a loan transfer but only with an obligation to purchase the player at the end of his temporary spell.
Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla gave an update on X (formerly Twitter) and indicated that Sancho “rejected an important offer this morning.”
Pedulla notes that the offer was either from a Premier League club or a Turkish team.
Sancho rebuffed the proposal because he “wants to wait” for Juventus.
#Sancho stamattina ha respinto un’offerta importante (#Premier o #Turchia), vuole aspettare la #Juventus. Prudenza assoluta fino agli accordi definitivi, la strada è quella tracciata settimane fa

Meanwhile, GIVEMESPORT revealed that Sancho is closing in on an Old Trafford departure with his agents embroiled in dialogue with Juventus.
“Manchester United have edged towards seeing Jadon Sancho head through the Old Trafford exit door as the outcast’s representatives have been holding discussions with Serie A heavyweights Juventus ahead of a potential summer switch, GIVEMESPORT sources have revealed.”
“GMS sources have been informed that Juventus are preparing to thrash out the terms of a loan deal for Sancho after new head coach Thiago Motta has set his sights on bolstering the squad he has inherited from predecessor Massimiliano Allegri, while the Red Devils are keen to negotiate a speedy exit.”
United want to get the 24-year-old’s hefty wages off their books and this has given the Bianconeri “renewed hope” of getting their man.
