Manchester United reached their first domestic cup final is six years after beating Nottingham Forest 5-0 on aggregate in the semifinals of the Carabao Cup.
It was a momentous occasion and the result aside, the fans inside Old Trafford were also overjoyed to see Jadon Sancho make his comeback after a difficult spell.
The English winger last played for the Red Devils during a 1-1 draw at Chelsea over three months ago. Since then, he had been training individually to improve his mental and physical well-being.
Sancho’s return great news for United
The United faithful and the manager Erik ten Hag were concerned with his well-being and gave him as much time as required for the player to deem himself ready to go again.
And the 22-year-old also ended his social media hiatus and put up a post thanking the fans and the players while also showing his appreciation for the Dutch boss.
“Wow! Just want to say a massive thank you to everyone for the support I’ve received over the past few weeks, especially to the fans.

“My focus is to give my all to my team and the club. I’m so happy to be back out on the pitch. See you soon,” the former Borussia Dortmund star wrote on both Instagram and Twitter.
The England international could be sharing a joke with his manager and as soon as he stepped inside the pitch, the Theatre of Dreams broke into rapturous applause.
After the game, the No 25 was the last to leave the pitch as he went to all four corners of the ground and applauded the supporters.
Ten Hag, players & supporters show Sancho love
A lot of his teammates and fellow footballers could be seen replying to his post and showered the young star with a lot of love which was nice to see.
Sancho’s display picture currently is a photo of the winger with the manager and that shows what a big role Ten Hag has played in helping the youngster return back to the team.
He was introduced in the 63rd minute against Forest and he played as the No 10 behind Anthony Martial, an interesting tactical tweak from the former Ajax coach.
The tricky winger’s return will be a huge boost for the team with fixtures coming thick and fast and with a final to come this month.
