Fabio Silva seals Wolves loan exit

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Fabio Silva has, on Monday, sealed a departure from the club.

The Portuguese youngster’s next destination? Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht.

As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Silva is primed to make the move to The Lotto Park on loan for the 2022/23 campaign.

Before doing so, though, the 19-year-old has extended his terms at Molineux for a further year, understood to remain in the long-term plans of those in a position of power in the west Midlands.

Anderlecht, for their part, are expected to cover the entirety of Silva’s wages for the coming year.

Silva joins a whole host of players to have called time on their respective stints with the club to this point in the summer.

Joining the attacker in moving on, either on a loan or permanent basis, have been all of Ruben Vinagre, Roman Saiss, Marcal, John Ruddy, Ki-Jana Hoever, Louie Moulden, and Renat Dadashov.

On the incomings front, meanwhile, Bruno Lage’s ranks have been reinforced most notably courtesy of the big-money addition of defender Nathan Collins.

Hitman Hee-chan Hwang’s loan arrival has too been made permanent, whilst a familiar face has made his way back to the English Midlands, in the form of Adama Traore.
