Manchester United’s summer with regards to transfer has started on a slow note, with the Red Devils yet to make any sales or signings during the ongoing transfer window.
Alvaro Fernandez joined Benfica on a permanent transfer following the end of the last season, but the terms for his transfer were agreed in the winter window itself.
With Dan Ashworth’s appointment as the club’s new sporting director now confirmed, United’s transfer business for this summer is expected to pick up the pace.

It is claimed that ‘if nothing goes wrong, he will sign with Girona.’ In that event, United will be paid around €500,000 for their midfielder’s services. He moved to Old Trafford in the summer of 2020 for a fee thought to be in the region of £35m.
