FC Barcelona look set to miss out on the signing of Jules Koundé.
The French defender is now closing in on a move to Chelsea.
César Azpilicueta is expected to be Barça’s only defensive signing for now.

The Spanish club are starting to believe that Koundé will seal a move to west London, according to Relevo.
Some at Barça have already accepted defeat in their pursuit of the 23-year-old.
It is understood that the Blues’ agreement with Sevilla is in the final stages.
Other reports claim that Todd Boehly’s club have submitted a €65million bid.
Barcelona look set to now step up their interest in Azpilicueta.
The arrival of the Spaniard is expected to mean that they will no longer be in a rush to find an alternative to Koundé.

Sport report that Azpilicueta’s arrival at Camp Nou is just a matter of days.
Barça are hoping to sign him for between €4-5 million.
However, the Blues want to sign another defender, after Koundé, before selling the 33-year-old.
