Manchester United loanee Alex Telles has been named as part of Sevilla’s 22-man travelling squad that will clash against the Red Devils on Thursday in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
Telles joined Sevilla in the summer in search of first-team minutes and because European competitions do not bar loan players from featuring against their parent club, he is eligible to play on Thursday.
The only change in Sevilla’s travelling party from the squad that faced off against Celta Vigo over the weekend is the inclusion of Lucas Ocampos.
Ocampos was serving a suspension and so did not play a part against Celta Vigo.

Undoubtedly, United are the favourites to emerge successful in the tie.
Their Spanish opponents are currently enduring a nightmare campaign that has seen them in 13th position in La Liga.
Los Nervionenses are coming off a dramatic 2-2 draw against Celta Vigo – a result that saw them surrender their two-goal lead in a matter of minutes.
Jose Luis Mendilibar’s men conceded in the 89th and 93rd minutes respectively and also had two players given their marching orders.
Mendilibar is the third manager Sevilla have had this season after the sackings of Julen Lopetegui and more recently, Jorge Sampaoli who was relieved of his duties just before the international break.
Nevertheless, they should not be underestimated.
Sevilla boast a rich history and reputation in the Europa League. The last time the Red Devils met Sevilla, the Spanish giants knocked an Ole Gunnar Solskjaer-led United out of Europe’s second-tier competition in the semi-finals.
Sevilla proceeded to beat Inter Milan in the 2020 finals to win the competition.
